St. Patrick's Day is on Monday March 17th and we will be celebrating at Croft. Leprechaun gold will be handed out to students with the Best Irish Hair (all natural), Best Irish Freckles (all natural) best Irish Costume (lots of green, etc.), best Irish Hat and Most Green Items. Have fun and may the luck of the Irish be with you.

The Oilers were our winning team at our Annual Croft Cup held on Friday February 28th. Team members pictured here are Connor S., Jansen B., Max J., Braden B. (Team Captain), Colin M., Dariah D. and Dalton H.N.. Not only did the Oilers display some amazing on ice talent, they also demonstrated great sportsmanship throughout the day. Our annual Croft Cup Pond Hockey Tournament will be happening this Friday - Feb. 28th for students in Gr. 3 - 5.  A detailed information package is being sent home today with all students that signed up to play. The information package concerning the Croft Cup may also be found under the "School Documents" tab of our home page. Come out and cheer on your favorite team(s) at our annual Croft Cup.

SUPPORT ANTI-BULLYING!! DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR PINK SHIRT!Origins of Pink Shirt DayPink Shirt day originally started as a protest against a bullying incident at a high school in Nova Scotia. On this day, people participate by wearing pink to symbolize a stand against bullying.The original event was organized by David Shepherd and Travis Price of Berwick, Nova Scotia, who in 2007 bought and distributed 50 pink shirts after a male ninth grade student, was bullied for wearing a pink shirt during the first day of school.

Congratulations to members of Team Austria who took home first place in the medal count during our Croft Olympics. Team members will be treated to a Pizza Party on Tuesday Feb. 25th at noon. A nod also to Mme. Aubry and Mrs. Cameron who were great coaches! Way to go boys and girls!!
