Students in grades 3,4,5 at Croft participated in the annual track and field meet at JMH.  The staff are very proud of the effort put forth by everyone who attended and congratulates all those who received ribbons during the event. The District Track and Field Meet will take place tomorrow Tuesday June 22nd at the J.M.H. track.  Students are reminded to bring a packed lunch, plenty of water, and sunscreen.  The event will begin at 9:30 am and finish at approximately 2:00 pm. Students will leave the school at 8:30 am on buses with their homeroom teachers.  Parents are more than welcome to meet their child at the track to cheer them on throughout the day. If there is inclement weather please listen to 99.3 The River in the morning for info regarding cancellations.  There is no rain date if the meet is cancelled.

We have set up tables in the front lobby with all lost and found items from the past few months. Parents are asked to please check for items that may belong to your child(ren). Items still here at the end of the school year will be donated to local charity.

The cafeteria will not be open for business on Tuesday, June 22nd,Thursday, June 24th and Friday, June 25th.     Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided  for lunch for K-2 students on Tuesday, June 22nd as part of field day activities.  If students do not want either of these items they should bring a lunch from home.  Grades 3-5 students will be going to their field day at James M. Hill and will need to bring a good healthy lunch , water  and sunscreen as they will be there from 9:00 a. m. to 2:30 p. m.    Students must bring a lunch from home on Thursday, June 24th.

Friday, June 25th is the last day of classes for students for the school year. Please be advised that on Friday, June 25th, students will be dismissed at approximately 11:30 a. m.This is a district-wide dismissal, therefore, arrival time at home for students may take longer than usual. Procedures for a “storm bus run” will be used on Friday. This means that all students will go home on the same bus that picks them up in the morning.If parents plan to pick up their child (ren) on Friday, please notify your child (ren)’s teacher in writing before Friday morning.
