Croft Elementary is very proud of one of our own! Madalyn, in Gr. 3L, won first place in the Legion's Annual Black and White Poster Contest held last fall. Madalyn won first place in the Miramichi area and then advanced to win first at the provincial level. Pictured here is Madalyn along with her teacher Mme. LeGresley and Legion member Gerald Mullin. Madalyn's poster will now move on to the National Level competition with judging to be held in Ottawa later this spring. Way to go Maddy, we are all so very proud of you!!!

Tips for Keeping Snacks Safe     Always wash hands before preparing or eating a snack. This is the one of best ways to prevent food spoilage and contamination. Wash all fruits and veggies under cold running water. Clean all lunch boxes, thermal bags, plastic utensils and containers in hot soapy water. DO NOT re-use plastic wrapping and bags. Keep foods cold -Yogurt, deli meats and cheese should be kept cold. -Be sure to keep lunches in the fridge until the morning and include an ice pack or frozen juice pack when sending lunches to school.
