A Celebration of Acadians - March 16th

Acadian Day Croft will be having an Acadian Cultural Day on Friday, March 16th.   The only meal being offered in the Cafeteria will be Acadian Cuisine.  Price includes: meal (poutine râpée, chicken bouillon,  a roll, molasses cookie & drink.)   K-2 student meal = $2.00 3-5 student meal = $3.00   This day will also be Acadian Colors day at Croft!  Dress in red, white, blue and gold. There will be a prize for the best dressed in each grade level.  Pay $1.00 to help with the cost of this day.  Your $1 will also enter you in a draw to win a French C.D. from one of our Acadian Artist   Our afternoon will be filled with fun Acadian activities in the K-2 classrooms.  In the morning, Grade 3-5 students will be watching how to make poutine râpée, râpée and molasses cookies.  Their afternoon will be filled with an awesome concert performance by Josée Vautour; a 14 year old girl from St-Louis de Kent and fun-filled activities in the classroom.
