Croft Breakfast Program Needs Your Help!!

Posted: October 29, 2012

October 30, 2012 Croft Elementary School’s Breakfast Program ***Donations of Time and Cereal Now Being Accepted*** This is to advise all parents and friends of Croft Elementary that, for several different reasons, the budget for this year’s Breakfast Program has now been exhausted. However, since so many of our children have come to depend upon and benefit from having breakfast at our school, we hope to keep this important program alive in the following two ways:   1.       Volunteers to help supervise the program! This would involve approx. 1 hour of your morning each day (8:00 am – 9:00 am). If interested, please contact me at your earliest convenience @ 627-4080. Once names have been received, a Breakfast Program Volunteer Schedule will be posted on our website. 2.       Donations of cereal from parents and the public. Fortunately, the Croft Home & School Association will continue to purchase milk to support our Breakfast Program. The only thing we need is cereal!! Donations of non-sugared cereal (cheerios, rice krispies, corn flakes, etc.) are now being accepted. A box entitled “Breakfast Program Donations” will be set up in the front lobby for this purpose. Thank you in advance for your support and remember “a healthy breakfast leads to a healthy learner”.     Mark Donovan Principal
