Croft Elementary Home and School Meeting Minutes (please click "read more" for the full minutes of our meeting.   November 16, 2015 I.      Call to order Mark Donovan called to order the regular meeting of the Croft Home and School at 6:30 on November 16, 2015. II.      The following persons were present: Ann Cameron                                 Wendy Butler Amanda Taylor                              Paula Galliah Sharon Eveleigh                             Holly Grant Krista Page                                     Michelle Howatt Mark Donovan III.      Open issues: a)      Election of Officers: Amanda Taylor – President (acclamation) Erin Casey – Vice President (acclamation) Sharon Eveleigh – Treasurer (acclamation) Holly Grant – Secretary (accalamation) b)      Sharon reported that the Halloween Spooktakular made $2261.80 profit. Overall, the event was a huge success with a lot of positive feedback. One suggestion was to have the “Non-scary” rooms clearly separated from the “Scary Rooms”. This would preclude children having to go through the scary areas to get to the fun displays. IV.      New business a)      Movie Night, is being arranged for December. Details:      December 4th 6:00 – 8:00 $0.00 charge for movie Movie (The Grinch) Croft Families Only, PJ night, pillows welcome, mats provided by school. $1.00 charge for pop, water, popcorn, candy canes & juice boxes.  $2.00 charge for cotton candy. Flyers need to be sent home Monday, November 30th.  E-mail flyer to Lisa to post on website.  Parents must accompany students. Volunteers: Amanda, Derrick, Holly, Andy, Erin, Krista, Sharon, Michelle, Ann Cameron & friends ;-) b)      Christmas Concerts:  ·         50/50 Draw. ·         Grinch costumes, tape Christmas Concert? ·         Sell tickets on front row – 10 final tickets, $2.00 per ticket or 3 for $5.00 ·         Draw at noon for tickets ·         Videographer – Need someone to come and video. c)      Bus Driver Appreciation – it was decided that the Home and School would provide each Bus Driver with a $ 10.00 Tim Card in December. Students from each bus could sign a Christmas Card for each driver. Tim Cards x20 - $200.00 V.      Adjournment Amanda adjourned the meeting at 7:30 pm.
