1. First Day Back To School – for all students will be Tuesday September 2, 2014. 2.      Student Supply Lists – are included with this report card, if applicable, for your child’s grade level. All K-2 classrooms are implementing a school supply fee in lieu of parents having to purchase an exhaustive & often expensive supply list.  Supply lists for the Grade 3-5 classes will be available at most local drugstores in Newcastle and Douglastown. 3. Summer Reading Programs – will be available at Carrefour Beausoleil     (French Immersion) 627-4084 and at the Newcastle Public Library (English) 623-2450       during the summer. 4.  Student Homeroom Placements - class lists will be posted on the front doors of the school on August 28, 2014.  5.   Head Lice Checks - please be reminded to check your child thoroughly before the start of school. September tends to be somewhat problematic for this issue. 6.  Cafeteria Opening – our school cafeteria will be open for business the first day of school (September 2nd). Note:   Students entering Grade 3 in the fall will begin staying until 3:00 pm each day.  As a result, there may be a change in bussing.
