Registration for children entering kindergarten in September 2017 will be held from October 11th- October 14th this year at your local community school. Kindergarten attendance for the 2017-2018 school year is mandatory for children born in 2012. Children born between September 1st and December 31st 2012 have the option of starting kindergarten the following year.

If you have a child entering kindergarten next year, visit the main office of your community school between 8;30 and 3:00pm during the week of October 11-14, 2016.

You will be required to show proof of immunization, a birth certificate, and Medicare card at the time of registration.

It is important that your child be registered at this time in order to receive timely information about pre-school screening for a successful transition to school.

Please note that for children whose community school will be Max Aitken Academy, kindergarten registration will take place at Croft Elementary.
