This notice is to advise parents of our plans for “Christmas Literacy Day” at Croft scheduled for tomorrow,Thursday, December 20, 2012. A.M. Activities:   8:45 – 9:15            Traditional Christmas Stories - all classes 9:30 – 10:00           Christmas Crafts (based on stories) – all classes 10:30 – 11:00         Christmas Cookie Creations 11:30 – 12:00         Classic Christmas Animated Feature in each class “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and/or “The Grinch” P.M. Activities: 1:00 – 1:45   K-2 Caroling – K, 1, 2 students will walk to three selected homes on Elizabeth Street, Millar Avenue and Sweeney Lane to perform Christmas Carols (257 Sweeney Lane, 281 Millar Ave., 39 Eliz. St.) 1:00 – 3:00  Gr. 3-5 Caroling - Gr. 3-5 students will be bussed to the Town Square (in front of City Hall) to perform a variety of Christmas Carols with Mayor Cormier.                    Following our caroling with the mayor, students will then be bussed to Atlantic Super Store for Caroling inside the store. Important Note: Our morning activities are intended for students only. However, parents and families are welcome to join us for all the caroling sessions scheduled in the afternoon.
