Multiple Intelligence Inventory

Posted: April 8, 2013

The province of New Brunswick is currently providing training for schools with a teaching model called the Universal Design for Learning (U.D.L.). As part of this training, teachers will be completing surveys on each child to determine specific interests and learning styles. This will assist with teacher lesson planning and capitalize on your child’s areas of strengths and interests. You can assist your child’s teacher at home by going on-line and completing a Multiple Intelligence Survey with your son/daughter. This will also provide you, as parents, with some interesting & useful information about your child. The website is as follows: http://school.familyeducation.com/multiple-intelligences/learning-styles... On the homepage, you will see “What Are Your Child’s Special Gifts?” and a box stating “Start the evaluation”. Please note:                The URL above will also be posted on our school website to allow a simple cut & paste in your browser. Once this survey is completed at home, parents are asked to send in to your child’s teacher a printed copy of the results (last page only). If parents could return this information to the school by Friday April 12th, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
