“Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast”

Croft Cafeteria - 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
In recognition of your efforts all parent & community volunteers are invited to attend this special breakfast next Thursday.
Please join your favorite student(s) for a wholesome meal of bacon, eggs, coffee, hash browns, ham, sausage, toast, fruit, cereal & juice.
If you will be able to attend, please R.S.V.P. by Friday June 4th.
The week of May 30th to June 5th has been declared Disability Awareness Week by the Premier's Council on the Status of Disabled Persons. District 16 schools are participating.
The theme is "Yes We Can" and the aim is to promote support for persons with disabilities in New Brunswick. Disability Awareness prizes are being presented at district elementary schools and a "Walk and Roll" event is being encouraged at each school for Friday June 4th.
On May 27th Croft presented Ethan G. with the Turnaround Achievement Award at a dinner hosted by Rodd Resort and School District 16 .

A special thank you to the Rotary club of Chatham for sponsoring this important event.
Students in grades 3,4,5 will begin preparing for the upcoming District 16 Track and Field Meet on Tuesday June 22nd at the James M. Hill Track. Each student will be registered in three events.
Parents are reminded that a packed lunch with plenty of water and sunscreen is needed on the day of the meet as students will be at the track from 9 - 2:30 pm.
The meet will NOT be rescheduled if it is cancelled due to weather.

On Monday May 17th students in grade 5 had the opportunity to experience Project Adventure by taking part in the Six Rope climbing at MVHS. Included in their adventure were several trust, team work, and full value contract lead up activities prior to the actual climbing experience.
