Celebrating Day 50

Students will be celebrating the 50th day of school tomorrow in class. If your child wishes to dress in clothing similar to the 1950's they are more than welcome too.

Day 35 All our butterflies were resting when we looked at them this morning. None of them were eating their Gatorade.

Our butterflies are so pretty. They were quiet this morning when we saw them. Only one was flying around, the rest were resting. We will give them new Gatorade for the weekend.

Today we had to give our butterflies new food. We replaced the Gatorade. We took out all the empty cocoon shells. Our butterflies were flying around. One almost flew out on us.

Today we saw that all of the Butterflies are out of their cocoons. Some butterflies were eating from the dish while others where flapping their wings. Our butterflies are orange, black and white. They are called painted lady butterflies.

Today we changed the food for our butterflies. They are drinking orange Gatorade from a dish placed in their net. The butterflies are flapping their wings and some are even flying around their home. As of today we have 15 butterflies.
