Today the children enjoyed bobsledding. Check out the image gallery to see photos taken from todays events.
Remember to bring your skates tomorrow for speed skating. This event will take place at the civic center.

We are currently reviewing the "No Excuse" Grade 1 sight words. This list of words will be gone over in class and sent home next week with highlighted words that your child needs to practice.

Today the children had a blast during the boot race. Owen earned Germany a silver medal. Everyone participated in this event and I was very proud of all the athlete in this class. Way to go Germany! I will be adding photos of each event so check out the photo gallery.
Today our Country was on the morning announcement. Finn, Brooklyn, and Megan read some facts about our Country. They did an excellent job!

There is a change to the Olympics schedule. We will be bobsledding tomorrow February 17 and speeding skating on Thursday February 18.

Today Germany faced off against Sweden in a snowshoeing competition. Germany received a silver medal going to Owen and a bronze medal going to Bailey! Way to go!
Everyone had a blast snowshoeing. I was very proud of our class. Everyone tried their hardest and did an excellent job!
We are looking forward to tomorrows event. We are having a boot race in the snow. Good luck to all our athletes.

Tomorrow we will be practicing our speed skating and figure skating events. The children will need to bring their skates and helmet with them.
