Just a note to give you an update on our field trip to Kings Landing. We have finished our fundraising (selling popsicles), this week. We made $200.00, which will help offset the cost of our trip. We will be asking for $15 from each child. This will cover the cost of the bus ride, and admission to Kings Landing. Our trip will be on June 9th. We are asking parents to send money in by next Friday, June 4th, if possible. The children are excited!!

On June 9, 2010, both KW and K/1B will be travelling to Fredericton to participate in a program at Kings Landing called "A Farm from Long Ago". Check your child's black bag for more details!!!

Over the last couple of weeks, a group of Kindergarten students from my class have been practicing a play called "Numbers' Play Day". They are doing a fantastic job!! Stay tuned, because in the middle of May, we are planning to video the performance and upload it to our classroom webpage!!

Congratulations K/1 B and KW for your amazing performances this morning at the Kin Center. They recieved a mark of 80 for singing "Texas Train", an 82 for their choral reading "I Can't Sit Still", and an 82 for their "Achy Breaky Heart" line dance. Great job!!
Tomorrow, K/1B and KW will be performing again with our primary choir and two special performances with the entire school! Hope to see you all there!!

On April 13 and April 14, K/1B will be participating in the annual Rotary Music Festival in Miramichi. On April 13, K/1B will be singing at the Kin Center between 9:20am - 11:20am. On April 14, K/1B will be singing with the whole school at Carrefour between 11:15am - 12:30pm.
Mrs. Page has asked for students to wear cowboy hats/boots or jeans and a t-shirt to their performance on April 13.
