Parents are advised that there is no school for students this Thursday (May 1st) and Friday (May 2nd). These two days have been set aside for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NBTA and Subject Council Day.
As part of
our Earth Day celebrations, some Croft students have chosen to
participate in an Earth Day scavenger hunt! Clues have been placed around the
school and students have received their questions. You have until Friday @12pm
to submit your answer sheet to the office. The person or group with the most
correct answers from the clue cards will win a prize. Click "more" for the rules of the contest.

THIS WEDNESDAY we
will be hosting the “Get Crackin’ Easter Sock Hop”. Students, teachers and
parents are welcome to join us in the gym at noon hour. Grades 3-5 will be from 12-12:25 and Grades
K-2 will be from 12:25-12:50. Come in
your best Easter colours. There will be
a prize draw for students wearing bunny ears!
We
are very excited about our two events happening tomorrow!
Just
a couple of points to clarify:
Breakfast With The Easter
Bunny –
this will happen from 8-11 am. Breakfast will consist of pancakes, sausages,
juice and/or coffee.
Pictures
with the Easter Bunny are included with the $ 5.00 price.
Ford’s Drive ur Ride – will run from 10 am – 2
pm.
The
children’s Easter Egg Hunt is part of the Drive Ur Ride Event. It is intended
for 2-6 yr. olds, however, siblings of younger children may also participate.
Three
separate Easter hunts will occur: 10:30

Croft is proud to announce that we raised $860 for Mike and Pauline Donovan of Barnaby. This money will be given to them directly to help with medical and travel expenses for their two children who have cancer. Thank you Croft students! A special thank you goes out to Olivia Wakelin, Liz Richardson and Claire Morrison who made and sold bracelets, and donated an impressive $70! Croft is so proud of you all!

On Friday, April 11th we will be hosting a pajama day.
All money collected on this day will go directly to the Donovan family. Croft has been asked to help support this Barnaby River family
who has been affected by Cancer. Two of
Mike and Pauline Donovan’s children are currently undergoing Cancer treatments
in Moncton and at the IWK. Please donate generously.

Event”
Croft Home and School is sponsoring ‘Breakfast
with the Easter Bunny’ this Saturday, April 12, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am in the
Croft Cafeteria. Bring
your whole family and enjoy pancakes and sausages, beverages and get your
picture taken with the Easter Bunny himself/herself!
We will also have games and an Easter egg hunt for
the children. All of this costs only $5.00/person .
