In class, we are reviewing the federal government, adoptions of new laws and the election 2011. This will be an open book quiz.

1. français - Journal - For the next couple of weeks, the students have been asked to write a daily entry in their Journal. The entry should be about something that they have done in the last day and should be approx. 3-5 sentences long per night. 2. lecture - 10 mins3. reading - 10 mins4. table de multiplication - Many students still don't know their times table. It is important for them to study these each night.5.$1 for cultural events6.Sc. Humaines pamphlet. - This is an in-class project that some students need a little extra time to complete. It is mostly finishing touches such as coloring.7. Grocery story flyers for a future science project

We have completed the first round of the class Spelling Bee competition.Our top spellers are: Maggie J. Brooke B. Amber P. Sydney P. Callie T.  Congratulations to our 5 Finalists who will move on to the Class Championships next week. Stay tuned for updates.

Some fun activities are planned this week in honor of the winter season. Lunchtime events are organized for each grade and Friday we end off the week with an awesome afternoon of outdoor activities. We would appreciate any parent volunteers to be in charge of the stations. Let me know if are available.

     We are very excited to announce that our very own Kassia's "Histoire de Noel" photostory project was selected as a District 16 C.U.T.E. Award finalist in her category. Kassia will be attending the C.U.T.E. Awards on Wed. Feb. 16th when the winners from each category will be announced. Good luck Kass! We are rooting for you!
